He is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and a licensed counselor in the State of Georgia. He is married to Becky LaHood Smith, and they have two girls, Sophie and Maddie. In his off time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and children, playing golf, hunting, and fishing.
